happy national day

haha.i LOVE SINGAPORE :D lol haha wooh national day is very fun and nice and touching. i guess im one of those easily-manipulated people who are stupid enough to think that a long life expectancy, the knowledge that you can walk around the streets at night safely, good food, high pay, good housing, no violence and riots, good tv from all around the world, computers everywhere, and the fact that my family and friends can all enjoy all of the above, is more important than being able to shoot my mouth off about anything i want and vote from a choice of 200 political parties :D. haha yayy. oh they were showing the history of singapore on discovery, and must say, nice job haha. made me realise how pretty singapore is, like the buildings and the cityscape and the skyline, it sorta like slopes up towards the river, and blends in those nice red-tile roof things with the metal concrete stuff haha pretty. weee happy birthday singapore! hahahaha

Snake

Serpentine intrusion into past glorious days,
Curl and wrap, slither. Invade your head with
Poison thoughts; invade you with a snake-like head.
Self-told lies hide behind a scaly shell
That calls itself care, fondness, love,
And that over-thinking egg hatches and coils
In languorous tendrils, silent,
Stirring to stalk, strike and strangle.
