we are what we're supposed to be

i have a sudden, inexplicable craving for Aqua songs now, but my efforts at baidu have been fuile. oh, woe, woe is us. amongst other things i have cravings for. in other news, i have just finished a cheese-mushroom omelette (how does one spell omelette?) and before that a plate of mummy's really, really good char kuay (for non-asians, the uninitiated, and aysuria, that's carrot cake fried with eggs and optional black sauce), and dinner is starting in about half an hour's time. whee, so long, short-lived four-and-three-quarter pack. so far, i've been lazing around and doing nothing economically or socially productive, which rocks. the luxurious joys of doing absolutely nothing can only be understood if you've been doing alot of pointless, but useful (ah, i sense a paradox) things of late.
i would write about passing out (not the unconcious variety), but everything seems so long ago, although it's only been, what, four-five days? from what i remember, i was positively euphoric and went around screaming, and then slowly i remembered that there was still one and a half years left to go. hmm, sobering thought innit. well, it's been really great with my platoon, but so long everyone. i would post pictures, but nobody knows if that's a violation of some obscure security code. so there.
the day after passing out, me, js, sarah, bridget and aysuria (who is the Full Member, Authorised to Invite New Members) went for dinner at the tanglin club, which is a stuffy, elegant, ostentatious, slightly snobby, west-embracing and expensive place stuffed with obese caucasians, i exaggerate alot. but in general, a nice place, although i felt super out-of-place. but, the beef, oh the beef, and the lamb, and the chocolate lava and the ohhh the blueberry pie thing (it is rather, blueberry soup with pie, very decadent and love) which sarah had. as leeying, friend of bridget would say Orgas! Orgas! yes, it was really, really good. rumour has it that the drinks there are v cheap too, so we must go there again.
i've just received a very, very strange and gross sms, and i think only aysuria will know what i mean :D.
thursday, went hiking with the BB boys, which was a pretty nostalgic thing to do, given that this has been my seventh march camp. the sense of mortality and time passing really hits you when you see your recruits whom are crystallized in your head as images of blur-ness and childlike innocence are now taller than you and shouting loudly at new recruits, whom you haven't even seen before. everything is changing, but i still feel the same. WHOA that sounded vaguely poetic- and philosophical, i am well on my way to blog-dreamer-clichedom.
friday was male day, given that morning was spent gymming and (supposedly but there was no sun) swimming with dezhi and chow, after which we met up with the rest (ala ivan, eq, tan long and teck heng) for lunch at this place called the, i forgot what the place is called, but it is behind carl's junior at marina square. not bad, but pretty cheap, and still quite classy, like a strange cafe cartel or nydc. went out with my army friends later, watched 300, which was strangely comic, went home.
saturday and sunday was great, because i did nothing :D
oh, what do you know, as luck would have it, we have pictures!
or, picture, seeing as to how the rest of my photos aren't loading.

this series of photos (woah, don't i sound like an accomplished photographer ala wai teck, who is the person taking all the strange, abit gross hypertrophy photos you see walking down the orchard underpasses) were taken when we went back to get our results. here is me and js's nose.
and this is a picture that does better justice to js's youthfoo good looks HAHA

me and aysuria, just outside the school hall, she looking euphoric with her obscene AAAA results.

here is me and jessie, just walking out of the hall. i think the people in the background are very interesting! if you zoom you can see people you know, i think.

outside our beloved classroom, which sadly, was locked. heartless security servicemen, we could see the green couch from the puny window. but at least we look happy now.

bridget and aysuria, at where else, but carl's junior. aysuria's quest is well on its way.

there are more, but 56k only allows for so much. OH they're showing phantom of the opera on TV, time to go.

reeeeeeeech
