this is the life i want to live
oh, the joys of being young, alive and having friends. yesterday was, as best put by charli from hi-5, 'totally awesome!'. swimming and gymming was great, since all of a sudden the sun appeared, and we got nicely simmered in our own juices, to a healthy brick-red brown, except that now ivan looks like he is constantly blushing, which is pretty cute in a strange, twisted way.
teck heng had to go for some eye thing, and met us later, where we had a splendidly balanced dota game, which ivan and i lost, not because dezhi screened us constantly, but i guess because we couldn't find a way to counter the enchantress, and later the geomancer, which was, seriously, just weird.
but the highlight of the day (i was going to type 'night', but that would have sounded too junyuanny for my liking) must have been our excursion to... zouk! yes, we have all graduated from geek school, except for dezhi and junyuan who have yet to experience the pulsating music and sweaty, gyrating bodies. in some strange twist of fate half of rjc was there, as well as poseurs ala many, but after a while nobody cared about them. xixun was there! which made everything superfun. it's really nice to get lost in the music, and smoke, and pretend everyone there was your friend, who you could dance to and vibrate with, and not think about everything else. after the first and a half jug (which you couldn't finish, you enfant) the alcohol was taking over, and my feet didn't feel like they belonged to me, which was a fantastic feeling. ahhh where were you, sarah and aysuria and js.
everyone's coming over later for the barbequeue, but it's raining. let's hope the rain doesn't keep up, or we'll have to camp and burn in the community hall again. reality will hit sometime tomorrow.
nothing's been solved, but at least i'm feeling happy, and not a wee bit guilty for feeling that.
reeeeeeeech
